About The Egg
This student position will be a member of the UX/Web team in The Egg, Student Life’s Student Creative Agency—a professionally advised student multimedia and design group and premier professional development and experiential learning program centered around creativity. Role Description:
The Student Life Communications Team is seeking a responsible, motivated undergraduate student to assist their Web and UX Team on various web based projects under the direction of the Digital Communications Specialist.
This position begins Spring 2025. Preferred candidates would ideally be first-years or sophomores. However, we will still consider juniors, rising seniors, and graduate students for this position.
This student employee will receive an hourly wage of $15.00, disbursed bi-monthly for the spring semester (15-weeks) and fall semester (15-weeks). Opportunities to work during the summer and winter semesters may be offered, but are not required. There is a minimum of 4 hours per week consisting of 2–3 hours of remote work for independent or group assignments, and a mandatory 1-hour biweekly team meeting. If the student cannot attend this meeting, that time must be made up at an agreeable time and date, promoting team collaboration. Students may not exceed 30 hours per week and at times may be asked to work more than the minimum time to complete projects.
Students have access to The Egg equipment and are provided a personal license for the Adobe Creative Cloud software suite and other relevant software as required by their role as part of The Egg Program.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assesses Division of Student Life marketing initiatives across all core areas: design, digital, social and multimedia

Help to execute and contribute ideas to digital and web marketing plans

Manage and execute reports and market testing, delving into data and uncovering thoughtful research-based recommendations and solutions.

Leverages analytics from Google, MailChimp, social media insights and other marketing platforms to create reports and dashboards in Looker Studio

Create and drive plans for user research and interaction studies

Coordinate and conduct usability testing

Conduct focus groups to collect reliable and unbiased data regarding student preferences that will help inform new design improvements
