Our buildings and StUDent Central are home to more than 400 vibrant student groups, Creative Leadership, Innovation and Service (CLIS), Fraternity and Sorority Leadership & Learning (FSLL), Blue Hen Esports, daily events and so much more. We are also here to assist with advertising, meeting and event planning services, and support.

Role Description:

The University Student Centers is seeking responsible, motivated future Building Managers who are responsible for providing superior customer service to University students, staff, guests, and visitors. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of all night/weekend programs and events taking place within the Centers as well as safety, security, and facility maintenance concerns, communicating with custodial staff regarding setup and other custodial needs, 

  • Evacuating the Centers during emergencies according to written policies and procedures, 

  • Conducting security checks of the Centers routinely during shift, making decisions regarding proper use of the facility including, but not limited to, group meetings, lounge areas, and recreation areas. 

  • Oversight of Information Desk, Hen Zone and Esports Arena operations,

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience.

  • Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

  • General knowledge of multiple areas of the University community a plus.

  • Punctuality, reliability, and dependability.

  • Interest in working in a fun, exciting, and rewarding environment.

  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends. 

Hiring Timeline:
