The College School serves as the foundation to promote specialized programs, exceptional teaching, and an engaged community of students and families that define an educational experience unique to a university setting. Role Description:

The College School is looking for creative, energetic, and reliable college students to lead after-school clubs for students in grades 1–8. These are paid positions and offer a unique opportunity to design and lead a club based on your own interests, skills, or hobbies. Whether you’re into coding, cooking, theatre, yoga, chess, sports, or something entirely unique—we want to hear about your idea! Clubs can meet once or twice per week from 3:00–4:30 p.m., and you’re welcome to run more than one. We’ll provide the materials and support you need to engage and inspire students who choose to join your club. Think about what you love to do. Primary Responsibilities:

As an After-School Club/Enrichment Instructor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing content for a 1.5-hour club/enrichment meeting each week; 

  • Teaching a small number of children (3-8) a skill or leading an activity or series of activities related to the club theme; 

  • Running 10-12 meetings per semester;

  • Ensuring that children are dismissed safely at the end of the club/enrichment meeting.

Qualifications:  

We are looking for individuals who are dedicated, enthusiastic, and committed to the educational growth of young minds. Pre-service teachers/counselors are encouraged to apply.
