About the Faculty Member:
Dr. Bryan VanGronigen, an associate professor of education in UD’s School of Education, conducts research related to improving the quality and performance of schools and school districts.
Role Description:
Dr. VanGronigen is seeking up to four responsible, motivated undergraduate students to assist with a research project investigating how leaders working in schools and school districts improve their abilities to (a) better do their jobs and (b) help those they supervise better do their jobs.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Helping schedule data collection with eligible research participants
- Helping prepare collected data for analysis (e.g., reviewing interview transcripts for accuracy)
- Helping, as needed, complete other tasks to keep the research project progressing during the school year
Qualifications:
- An ability to work collegially, professionally, and independently
Hiring Timeline:
Data collection for this project is scheduled to commence in October 2025, and work for this position will occur on a rolling basis as data collection starts and continues.
