About the Department / Center:
The Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship (CEEE) hosts the Siegfried Youth Leadership Program (SYLP) Summer Camp, a one-week residential program serving approximately 20–30 high school students. The program combines academic instruction in economics with leadership development through faculty-led sessions, simulations, and experiential learning activities conducted on campus and during supervised excursions.
Role Description:
The Center for Economic Education and Entrepreneurship is seeking responsible, motivated undergraduate students to assist with student supervision, mentorship, and program delivery for the SYLP Economics Summer Camp. Resident Assistants (RAs) support a structured residential and academic program while fostering student engagement and maintaining a safe learning environment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Supervise students throughout academic sessions, meals, activities, and residential life
• Escort students between residence halls, classrooms, dining halls, and scheduled excursions
• Assist faculty and program staff with logistics and activity coordination
• Support student engagement during programming and unstructured time
• Conduct evening check-ins and provide overnight supervision
• Participate in daily staff briefings and recap sessions
Qualifications:
• Current undergraduate student in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Staff are selected based on relevant experience in subject matter
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage responsibilities in a residential, fast-paced environment
• Must be available to reside on campus for the full program duration
• Preference for prior SYLP Summer Camp experience
