Basic Function: |
Install, program, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair energy management computerized systems. Reports to Energy Management Supervisor or other designated supervisor. |

Examples of Duties: |
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Install, program, monitor, and maintain Direct Digital Control System components to include sensors, transducers, controllers, and network devices in campus buildings; troubleshoots system, identifies problems, and implements changes to system; adds, modifies and deletes computer programs for all energy management systems. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of three years experience in building automation systems to include repair and troubleshooting of DDC controls (or equivalent combination of education or experience which provides comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities). License/Certification: Valid Ohio driver's license with safe driving record. Knowledge Of: HVAC systems Skill In: Installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of computerized DDC equipment Ability To: Program energy management controllers |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: |
Exposed to dirt, dust, odors, fumes, electricity, variable temperatures and weather conditions, heights and potentially dangerous equipment (e.g., air handlers); requires moderate physical effort to include frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds (e.g., spools of cable), climbing, and extended periods of bending, standing, and stooping; may work varied hours to include evenings, weekends, and holidays; may be called to work in emergency situations; requires on- and off-campus travel. |
Working Schedule: |
Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; however, schedule may vary to meet departmental needs. |
