Basic Function: |
To provide leadership on behalf of, and as delegated by, the Provost in the areas of academic resource planning and management, curricular affairs, accreditation and assessment, faculty affairs, general education, large-scale initiatives, and human resources. Reports to the Senior Vice President and Provost. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Terminal degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution; three or more years of administrative experience at a complex doctoral-granting university. If applicable, the individual may be appointed to a faculty appointment congruent to their academic record. Must possess a broad institutional perspective, have excellent budgeting/finance and planning skills, and a proactive style of leadership that encourages teamwork and interaction. License/Certification:
Knowledge Of: Higher education and the mission critical institutional processes including student acquisition and retention, service delivery, and stakeholder communications * Skill In: Written, verbal and interpersonal communication * Ability To: Work independently and as part of a team * |
