Basic Function: |
To support and coordinate the operations of the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement by providing administrative assistance and serving as the preliminary contact and coordinator on large scale projects and events, with an emphasis on communications, annual giving and strategic planning duties. Reports to Senior Associate Vice President and COO, Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement. |

Examples of Duties: |
Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Provide administrative and project support to a division, large unit and/or college; serve as point of contact and liaison between the office and internal and external and outside constituencies relative to activities and needs of the office, resolution of issues, projects and other administrative functions. Collaborate with office administration on projects; research issues/requests, provide recommendations for resolving issues/requests based on policy and other precedents. Analyze information and develop and prepare reports to aid in leadership decision making. Develop and coordinate events and activities as assigned. Provide organizational support to office administration which may include website updates, calendar management, travel arrangements and expense reimbursement processing. Organize and attend meetings and prepare materials for meetings as assigned. Oversee office budget, manage office purchasing and reconcile p-card expenses; investigates problems, reconcile solutions and prepare replies. May provide direct supervision of classified staff, unclassified staff, graduate assistant, and/or student employees. Oversee and manage budgetary and human resource functions within assigned units, which may include the facilitation of student scholarships, the oversight of non-academic unit budgets, and the administration of policies, forms, and other regulations. Serve on various university committees as assigned. Perform related duties as assigned. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus three years' business and/or academic administrative experience or a combination of education, training, and experience equivalent to seven years of business and/or academic administrative experience. License/Certification:
Knowledge Of: Personal computer applications including the Microsoft Office Suite Skill In: Written, verbal and interpersonal communications Ability To: Work evenings and weekends on an occasional basis |
