    • Professional Lecturer in Management in Poughkeepsie, NY

      The disciplinary focus for this lectureship is management. The successful candidate will teach a 4-4 load (four sections of introduction to business, organizational behavior, human resource management, or other management-related courses per semester). The ideal candidate is a faculty member who is passionate about conveying key concepts and current trends in management, and who can help prepare students to succeed in their chosen profession. We are open to candidates with a specialty in any of the primary sub-specialties within management, for example organizational behavior, human resources management, leadership, etc. We are seeking faculty members excited to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in management and related subjects. The successful candidate will have qualifications in, and connections to, the field of management, either through academic research or professional activity. This is a teaching-focused role. Service expectations for this position are minimal. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for this term position. We welcome candidates who will place a strong emphasis on quality teaching in a small classroom setting. Our typical class size is fewer than 25 students. The expected course load for this position is 24 credits per year (4-4 load).

    • Assistant/Associate Professor of Public Administration in Poughkeepsie, NY

      This is a tenure-track position in public administration. Marist University invites applications for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Public Administration to join the School of Management beginning fall 2026. This full-time, tenure track position will involve teaching and advising primarily online, graduate courses in the Master of Public Administration Program and maintaining a high level of professional activity through research and service in the candidate’s area of emphasis. Teaching in the School of Management’s undergraduate programs is also expected. The School of Management will be accepting applications immediately for this position.       The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Assistant Coach, Softball. The assistant coach is responsible for the practice & game plan preparation and the preparation, coordination, & execution of practice plans during the academic year. The position is responsible for the identification, research of, and communication with prospective student-athletes during the calendar year. The assistant coach will also assist in the academic, personal, and career mentoring of student-athletes.

      The Athletics Department at Marist University invites applications for a part-time, 9-month position as Head Coach, Club Dance Team. This position will report to the Assistant Athletic Director, Intramural Sports/Club Sports/Camps. The responsibilities include coordinating all aspects of the Dance Team program including, but not limited to, dance member recruitment, dance choreography, selection and performance, organizing and planning of practice sessions, attendance at all home Football and Men’s and Women’s Basketball contests, and ordering of supplies as necessary.

      Part-Time Faculty, English in Poughkeepsie, NY

      The Marist University English Department is looking for qualified part-time faculty to teach undergraduate courses in English for the 2025-2026 academic year. We have a particular need for faculty who can teach our foundational writing courses, and introductory level literature, professional writing, and theatre courses. All classes are at the undergraduate level and are offered in-person at the Marist campus in Poughkeepsie, New York.
