The Marist School of Science is seeking a Founding Program Director and Department Chair for a planned new Bachelor of Science program with a Nursing major. During the initial two years of program development, this will be a 12-month position with a total compensation range of $130,000-$140,000 plus an annual bonus of $28,000. After the program has launched, the position will revert to a 10-month position with a total compensation range of $130,00 to $140,000 per year. |

Job Summary: |
Marist University is seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as the Founding Program Director and Department Chair for a bachelors’ program in nursing, to be housed within the School of Science. The Founding Program Director will serve as the academic and administrative lead for the nursing department and oversee a state-of-the-art nursing facility. The Program Director will join Marist’s School of Science at an exciting time as it prepares to launch several new programs that will be housed in a dedicated new facility. The successful candidate will join a school that contains a blend of science and health related programs, including a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies, Doctor of Physical Therapy and undergraduate departments that provide majors in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science and medical laboratory sciences. |
