Job Summary |
The College of Education is home to more than 1200 credential and graduate students. The College of Education’s work focuses on closing the opportunity gap. The College’s impact is notable given the fact that we credential the largest number of teachers of any public institution in the state of California and have the largest Ed.D. program in the CSU system. We seek an exceptional individual to join our Secondary Education team as an Animation Assistant (Student Employee). The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness. The Asian Language Bilingual Teacher Education Program Consortium (ALBTEP) supports Under the general direction of the ALBTEP and NRCAL Program Coordinators, the Animation student Assistant provides staff with support on the animation and illustrations for programming operations that include, but are not limited to, assistance with seminar presentations, digital storytelling, and marketing. This individual provides creative support to the program activities as well as coordination assistance for educational events. This is an exciting opportunity for a federal work-study student who is passionate about the intersections to be found between Animation and Asian language education and willing to contribute to the growth of our programs. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications |
● Edit, design, and proof NRCAL flyers, digital newsletter, and other promotional materials for publication/procurement. ● Create copy that increases access to NRCAL’s resources and programming on Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Apple Podcast. ● Maintains social media calendar and publish posts in a timely fashion. ● Research and compile social trends, content proposals, and innovative executions to increase our digital presence. ● Participate in all activities, events, conferences, meetings that take place on-campus and off- campus supported by NRCAL. ● Display signage for publicity and clarity for all events, take pictures and short 2-minute videos at events. ● Follow CSUF and ASC policies for I.T., reimbursements, reconciliations, liability, audio/video release forms, room and open space reservation, custodial services, facilities, parking, food & delivery orders, other approved vendors, and other related procedures. ● Other duties as assigned. |
