POSITION |
The College of Business and Economics Deans office at CSU Fullerton invites applications for its BUAD 100 Foundations of College Success and Lifelong Learning Teaching Associates Pool. We welcome applications from current CSUF graduate students to teach in the following: The Teaching Assistant (TA) for BUAD 100 supports the instructor and the course, and leads the second half of each class session, during which students break out of a large lecture into smaller groups of about 30–35 first-year students. In this portion of each class session, TAs help students engage more deeply with the material by facilitating interactive activities and discussions that build on the lecture and align with course learning objectives. TAs contribute to an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom environment grounded in diversity, equity, and inclusion, where all students feel comfortable participating. They grade assignments and provide feedback, communicate regularly with students, meet weekly with the instructor, and assist with course preparation as needed. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to connect with and support students, stay organized, and respond to student needs while maintaining professional boundaries. TAs are student-centered, enjoy working with students, and are committed to supporting student growth and success. Duties:

COMPENSATION |
All Teaching Associate appointments are made under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the CSU system and the United Auto Workers. Initial appointments are for one semester only. Classification Range: $3,245 to $7,598 per month The full-time monthly base salaries indicated above are prorated to the time base assigned.
