ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST SPECIALIST I
Human Resources Management

 

Salary Range: $3,879 - $7,488/Monthly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range $3,879 - $5,751/Monthly)

 

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., non-exempt classification.

 

Essential Functions: The incumbent is responsible for administering full-cycle recruitments for staff positions across the University; from initial posting, vetting of candidates, offer negotiation and placement. The incumbent ensures that all recruitment activities comply with California State University’s systemwide policies, campus guidelines, and collective bargaining agreements. This position serves as a key resource to campus departments, hiring authorities, and external applicants, supporting institutional hiring objectives and compliance mandates. The incumbent will assist with new hire orientation, temporary appointments and special consultants.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or equivalent training. Administrative work experience involving study, and analysis, and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies, procedures, practices or programs. Excellent analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills. Detail-oriented. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current CSU employees who may apply for the position.

Desired Qualifications: Experience with PaGEUP/CHRS Recruiting and document management systems.
