POSITION: |
Assistant Professor of Masters in Social Work: The Department of Social Work invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in our MSW Program beginning Fall 2026. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach across the curriculum (micro/macro practice, theory, policy and research) with a particular focus on embedding social justice principles into social work practice. Expectations for the position include teaching, advising students, developing and maintaining an active research agenda, serving on University and Department committees, and developing a record of professional service in the greater community. The position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding. |

COMPENSATION: |
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. Anticipated hiring range is $7938-$8186 per month for Assistant Professor (12 monthly payments per academic year). As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer an extremely competitive benefits package. |
