Lecturer Pool - Biological Sciences: Biotechnology AY 2026/27 in San Marcos
The Department of Biological Sciences at California State University San Marcos maintains an on-going pool of applicants who are interested in teaching courses for the undergraduate and graduate Biotechnology degree programs. The Biotechnology programs emphasize a strong foundation of biological knowledge that is integrated with business, ethical, and legal perspectives of the biotechnology and life sciences industry. Specific courses for which instructors may be sought vary by semester and can be found in the catalog. Applicant pools are used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across our campus with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may last from one day to a whole semester. This applicant pool may be used to fill vacant positions on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Applications in this pool ad will only be good for the current academic year. This pool will be closed effective May 31st. If you wish to be considered for the next academic year, you will need to apply to the new pool as it becomes available by June 15th.

Transfer Admissions Counselor- SSP II (2 Positions) in East Bay
The Office of Admissions is looking for an independent, detail-oriented, quick-learning and professional individual to be part of our Transfer Admissions team. Under the general supervision of the Director of Admission and supervising Associate Director, the Transfer Admission Counselor coordinates the processing, evaluation, and advising of applicants for assigned groups. The counselor must follow a wide and complex range of relevant policies when making final admissions decisions. This position is also responsible for advising on Admission requirements, policies and procedures to various audiences including prospective students/applicants, faculty and staff. Working with other East Bay offices, the counselors also participate in the campus-wide effort to recruit prospective students as well as support the transition of admitted applicants to enrolled students.
