The coordinator connects students to housing and financial resources, collaborates with campus and community partners, and supports programs like CalFresh and Basic Needs outreach. They also assist with program planning, evaluation, and budgeting in coordination with the Basic Needs & Student Support team. This position plays a key role in supporting students experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness by addressing related trauma, guiding them through financial assistance, and linking them to mental health and campus services. The coordinator serves as the main liaison between CSUSB and community-based organizations (CBOs), ensuring seamless support and collaboration. The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to resolve complex issues and may serve as a lead for other staff.
