Join the Cutting Edge at the University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI)! The University of Dayton, a top-tier Catholic research university, is seeking a talented SW PDM Administrator to join our world-class research institute. In this critical role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the product data management (PDM) system that supports our innovative research and development initiatives. The position will be focused on development, implementation, roll out, and management of SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) system. The candidate will work closely with group leads, team leads, engineers, and other users of the system to develop processes in alignment with business needs and procedure requirements. As well, this role is responsible for creating automations to gain efficiencies and reduce repetitive work for the users. This role will be responsible for creating procedures, work instructions, and training for the processes developed within PDM or in support of PDM. Finally, as the PDM admin, this role is responsible for providing timely support to users to ensure functionality of the system and smooth operations. Due to the nature of this role, great communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse group of users at various locations is a must. |
