This is a Full-Time Faculty position. Job Summary: |
Full-time teaching faculty provide instruction aligned with the college's strategic goals and evaluate students' progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals. |

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: |
1. Master’s in fine arts degree in sculpture OR digital fabrication in related field with 18 hours of graduate coursework in sculpture OR digital fabrication. 2. Graduate coursework and/or research in one or more of the following preferred: (a) sculpture; (b) digital fabrication; and/or (c) metalsmithing. 3. 3-5 years college teaching experience 4. Demonstrated use of evidence-based teaching strategies 5. Demonstrated use of student learning evidence to strengthen teaching and learning 6. Demonstrated currency with the changing trends in 3D Art 7. Demonstrated ability to foster inclusive and engagement learning environments 8. Commitment to the community college mission and philosophy 9. Commitment to meeting the diverse academic needs of students of color, students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, first generation students, and older students among others |

Essential Duties: |
Deliver Instruction 1. Conduct assigned classes and/or labs 2. Prepare lessons 3. Provide course syllabus (which shall include course information, grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information) 4. Utilize learning outcomes assessment and measures to improve learning/instruction If a lab is involved: 5. Prepare labs 6. Enforce lab safety procedures Evaluate Student Progress 1. Keep accurate record of student performance 2. Provide students with timely feedback Provide Student Assistance 1. Maintain office hours and voice-mail/e-mail communication 2.
