Department Overview: |
The Entertainment and Events Department at The Rigby is responsible for curating exceptional live performances and events that elevate the experience for our guests. We are seeking a motivated and creative intern to assist with booking live entertainment, managing sound and lighting, and promoting events. This internship will offer an opportunity to work hands-on in the live events industry, with exposure to talent booking, event promotion, and technical aspects of sound and lighting. |

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: |
Sound & Lighting Equipment: Basic understanding or willingness to learn how to set up and operate sound and lighting systems for live events. |
Position Summary/Job Duties: |
Talent Booking: Assist with identifying and booking bands and performers for upcoming events. Research potential talent and attend shows to evaluate performers. |
Physical Demands: |
This position requires setting up and breaking down sound and lighting equipment, which may involve lifting and standing for extended periods. Ability to work in a variety of event environments. |
