MRSEC - The NSF-sponsored Wisconsin Materials Research Science and Engineering Center brings together teams of researchers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds to tackle grand challenges in the materials science of liquids and glasses and non-equilibrium magnetism. The Center integrates the discovery of new knowledge with creation of research-inspired educational materials, innovative programs that broaden participation in STEM fields, industry outreach to promote economic advancement, and professional development opportunities that train the next-generation US workforce. |

Qualifications: |
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in STEM. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills. • Ability to successfully perform detail-oriented work independently. • Work with supervisor to meet deadlines and prioritize work tasks. • Must be available to work in-person during the summer. The intern is required to be available during the summer on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 11:30am -1:30 pm. The additional work hours are more flexible as to where and when the work is done. |
