The UW Space Science and Engineering Center is a multi-discipline research and development organization that focuses primarily on climate, weather, atmospheric, and space related research. Funding sources include NASA, NOAA, NSF, DOE, and private industry, with an aggregate annual budget of about $30 million. Our projects include observation, analysis and application of the data collected by our instruments in Antarctica, on satellites, aircrafts, ships and land based installations. This information is made available to the scientific community worldwide and helps to enhance our understanding of Earth and the solar system beyond. |
