Qualifications:

We are looking for student operational help starting immediately. Expectations would be to commit to 8 – 12 hours per week throughout the summer and academic year, with opportunities for more hours in the summer. Previous office experience and an interest in the life sciences or medical field are preferred, but not necessary. Applicants should be familiar with Microsoft Office and open to learning other tools, such as Wordpress and Smartsheet. Previous Wordpress experience is a plus. Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Student Administrative Assistant will assist with administrative work during weekday business hours. The person in this role will function as part of a team of professionals that support research and education in the Carbone Cancer Center. Administrative duties include assisting with website design and maintenance, data entry and database maintenance, printing/photocopying, event planning, information distribution, and assisting multiple units with tasks. Data management duties include data collection, entry, cleaning, and maintenance while creating and supporting data visualizations for multiple units. This position may interact with protected health information (PHI) and will therefore be required to complete HIPAA training.

Physical Demands:

This job is primarily computer-based and does not include many physical demands.
