The Global Health Undergraduate Program is seeking a student intern to support outreach and communication for the Global Health major and certificate. The main responsibility of this role is creating and compiling the weekly newsletter. This is primarily a remote position with occasional assistance at in-person events. The preferred candidate will be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. The individual will also possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Work study students are encouraged to apply. Lifeguard in Not Remote
This position ensures the safety of participants in the Soderholm Family Aquatic Center and Cove Pool by applying preventative measures, promoting consistency, enforcing policies, and remaining alert. Current American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications are required, as well as a pre-employment skills test including an 8ft deep brick retrieval, touch the bottom of our 17ft diving well, a CPR scenario, and a continuous 200-yard swim, 2-minute tread, 50-yard swim sequence.
