The UW Carbone Cancer Center’s Pancreas Cancer Task Force (PCTF), is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Outreach Assistant to support a variety of initiatives that promote pancreas cancer awareness, patient support, community engagement, and philanthropy. This role offers hands-on experience in program coordination, outreach, event planning, administrative support, and social media content creation. The Outreach Assistant will work closely with the PCTF Program Manager and Task Force members to help enhance the Task Force's mission through community building, creative storytelling, and administrative support. The General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine division of the Department of Pediatrics has an opening for an immersive student hourly researcher position. This researcher will have the unique opportunity to contribute to multiple interdisciplinary research projects including a range of studies aimed at improving the health of children and adolescents. This experience includes the opportunity to work as part of a research team that values diversity and collaboration, comprised of undergraduate students, staff, and investigators who serve as mentors and mentees. Key responsibilities of the student hourly researcher will include contributing to such research activities as qualitative analysis, literature searches, drafting and editing scientific documents and various other research tasks.
