Position Summary

The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is recruiting a part-time student research worker for Dr. Dustin Duncan’s Spatial Epidemiology Lab on a project pertaining to the health and well-being of Black sexual minority men and transgender women of color. The student research worker will support data management and day-to-day study operations, review the research literature, help in the preparation of academic manuscripts, and other tasks as assigned.

 


Responsibilities

Data management and study operations: 40%

Manuscript preparation: 30%

Research literature review: 25%

Other minor administrative duties, as assigned: 5%

 


Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelors degree in sociology, psychology, epidemiology, public health, or a related field.

The successful candidate must have knowledge of/experience working with sexual and gender minority communities and be familiar with HIV/AIDS public health research among these communities.
