The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. Position Summary

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating human and animal studies. A successful candidate will be a self-starter, have excellent organizational and record keeping skills, and be able to multi-task while maintaining precision and quickness.

Responsibilities

The candidate will assist in managing and coordinating multiple human and animal studies related to blood disorders.

 

25% - Coordinating and recruiting volunteers for human clinical studies

25% - Performing animal experiments

20% - Animal husbandry

15% - Recording/analyzing data

10% - General lab maintenance

5% - Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least one and one-half years of related experience or equivalent education, training and experience. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical research experience, human subjects training, handling blood
  • Small animal research experience, in particular, working with mice
