The Sleep, Mind, and Health Research Program in the Columbia School of Social Work uses interdisciplinary methods to study how psychosocial and structural factors affect sleep, mental health, and cardiovascular health in underserved populations. The Sleep, Mind, and Health Research Program, directed by Principal Investigator (PI) Dr. Carmela Alcántara, has an open full-time position for a Research Staff Assistant. The Research Staff Assistant will work directly with the Principal Investigator and Program Coordinator on the Dormir Mejor study, which aims to test a digital treatment for insomnia in a randomized controlled trial of Spanish-speaking Latinx adults and support other related research on sleep and health in underserved populations.
