At Marina Bay Sands, the QA Test Automation Engineer / Manager is responsible for planning, developing, reviewing and creating of automation plans and scripts. The automation tester possesses the necessary skills and experience to understand the applications and its interfaces. This position requires close collaboration with vendors, other Team Members and business stakeholders. The resource is responsible for developing the scripts, perform execute and capturing the output of the test automation runs.

The main tasks will include:

• Participate in various phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for IT Projects and interface with various IT stakeholders such as 3^rd party vendor suppliers, development team, business analysts, project managers and project stakeholders to discuss or perform testing activities
• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Identify specific cases that should be automated and discuss them with manual QA engineers.
• Develop the best automation solutions based on the requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to find ways on how automation can improve the workflow.
• Responsible for creating test plans or any other QA documents in accordance with the Company's requirements.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Conduct various tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, and software.
• Write precise and high-quality scripts that test product functionality automatically.
• Develop/maintain automation test scripts.
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
• Execute and manage automation test cases and results.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
• Assist in the coordination of User Acceptance Testing.
• Adhere to IT Quality Control, SDLC, and Project Governance internal and regulatory (Sarbanes Oxley & Casino Regulatory Authority) guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Perform any other ancillary tasks or works as and when requested and assigned by the Company.

For this role you need:

• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in test automation, preferably UFT.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
• Demonstrate applicable knowledge on SDLC, testing methodologies, and frameworks and experience to pro-actively develop sound QA design, plan, solutions, and testing cases.
• Strong technical skills with hands on experience in programming with Java and/or VBScript.
• Excellent analytical skills to analyze and solve problems in a service-driven organization.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to effectively communicate with multiple levels within the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and demonstrate proactiveness.
