A day in the life:
- Commercial Acumen: Support commercial decision-making to drive profit growth and maximise returns on capital investments, whilst promoting a culture of continuous improvement through streamlined and relevant reporting aligned to business goals
- Develop commercial models to assess profitability across business strategies and deliver value-added analysis to support informed decision-making across stakeholders
- Clearly communicate commercial impacts of past and future business activities and build and maintain financial models and business case scenarios
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Review and report financial and non-financial KPIs; monitor business cash flow
- Deliver monthly performance reporting and insightful analysis to support decision-making and financial accounting by analysing and reporting on key risk areas
- Track and evaluate key contract performance for call centre and finance partners and monitor and report on store network investment performance, highlighting key findings
- Analyse trading performance, including KPI tracking and provide reporting and insights on People, Culture, and remuneration
- Offer analysis and recommendations on cash position and holdings
- Ad Hoc Commercial Support: Identify and manage risks and required actions to unlock project value and extract and analyse data to generate actionable insights through modelling
- Continuously seek out and deliver value-add commercial initiatives and review key contract terms to identify and leverage commercial opportunities
Who you are:
- Energetic, customer-focused finance professional with strong commercial acumen
- Proven ability to interpret and present complex data to support strategic decision-making
- Skilled communicator, confidently engaging with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive mindset and high attention to detail
- Advanced time management and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High level of ownership and accountability for outcomes
- Proficient in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, with experience using Power Query, Excel, or SQL to transform and present data
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills, able to simplify complex financial insights
- Experience working in high transactional volume environments is desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar analytical or reporting-focused role
