Reporting to the Senior Creative, you will work across all facets of graphic communication, including but not limited to print, digital, corporate identity and brand strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate creative concepts into compelling visual assets. You will work closely with the Digital Marketing team, Creative Services Team and Product Teams.
A day in the life:
- Produce visually appealing and on-brand graphics for various marketing materials, including print and digital platforms
- Design and produce a wide range of materials including but not limited to: press advertisements, digital ads, social media content, email marketing campaigns (EDMs), branding materials, and promotional collateral
- Design eye-catching layouts for advertisements, brochures, large format materials
- Develop engaging and interactive rich media designs, such as animated banners and interactive presentations, to effectively communicate campaign messages
- Create visually appealing and responsive email designs that align with the brand's visual identity, optimise for various email clients and devices, and effectively drive engagement and conversions
- Maintain and enforce a consistent visual identity and brand standards across all marketing materials and channels
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to understand project requirements and contribute creative ideas to enhance campaign strategies and executions
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines, while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to gather relevant information to understand target audiences and design solutions that resonate with them
- Stay informed about industry trends and incorporate innovative design concepts into projects
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge in graphic design and related tools
- Maintain and organise a library of design assets, including logos, images, fonts, and templates, for easy accessibility and consistent usage
Who you are:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects.
- Proficient skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and familiarity with email marketing tools. After Effects and Premier Pro skills would be an advantage
- Basic animation skills
- Solid understanding of all stages of print production
- Solid understanding of design principals, layout, typography, and colour theory
- Ability to think beyond just design into strategy and conceptual development across all areas of graphic communication
- You work fast, proactively and are solution focussed
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
- Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint)
