ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to drive Group cash visibility and liquidity forecasting. Own the 13-week cash forecast, deliver decision-ready treasury reporting, and partner across the business to proactively identify risks, improve forecast accuracy, and support informed financial decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Cash Management & Liquidity
- Manage daily Australian cash positions, including target balance management and validation of material inflows and outflows
- Monitor Group debt facility utilisation, liquidity headroom, and covenant risk
- Investigate, escalate, and provide insight on anomalies and emerging liquidity risks
- Build strong working relationships with Australian Operations and internal FCTG teams to understand end-to-end cash flows
Forecasting & Analysis
- Own and maintain the rolling 13-week Group cash forecast across all business units and offshore entities
- Coordinate forecast submissions, monitor data quality and timeliness, and escalate non-compliance
- Perform forecast-to-actual variance analysis and identify key drivers and early warning indicators
- Consolidate offshore cash positions and highlight risks such as trapped cash or repatriation needs
Reporting & Governance
- Deliver daily treasury reporting, including cash positions, FX counterparty limits, and debt utilisation
- Produce weekly consolidated forecast packs, dashboards, and variance commentary
- Prepare inputs into monthly Group Treasury results reporting
- Monitor policy compliance and maintain the policy breach and exception register
- Ensure all reporting is audit-ready and aligned with internal governance standards
Process Improvement & Team Contribution
- Leverage approved automation and AI tools to improve reporting efficiency and insight generation
- Support treasury transformation, digital adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide broader support to the Treasury team and contribute positively to team culture
QUALIFICATIONS
- Finance or Business degree (required)
- Post‑graduate finance qualification (desirable)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong experience in cash management and liquidity forecasting
- Exposure to multi‑entity or Group cash forecasting environments
- Exposure to automation or AI tools in finance workflows (preferred)
- Experience in global or multi‑currency treasury environments (preferred)
- 5–10 years’ experience in corporate treasury, finance, or a related discipline
- Experience working with a Treasury Management System (TMS) or equivalent
