About the Opportunity
As an Inside Account Manager, your primary goal is to retain existing accounts and grow revenue within those accounts. You'll serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and needs, delivering resolutions professionally while identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services that align with client needs.
We are looking for a customer-centric relationship builder with strong communication skills and business acumen who is ready to make a real impact. With support from Key Account and Regional teams, you'll act as an advocate for your clients within the company, coordinating with various departments to enhance the customer experience with FCM.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for client concerns and needs, delivering resolutions professionally and enhancing the customer experience
- Retain existing accounts and grow revenue by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services
- Create and conduct periodic reports and light version reviews of client travel programs to ensure program objectives are met
- Provide reporting to clients with expert insights and recommendations based on data analysis
- Maintain regular and clear communication with clients to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide updates
- Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and other client inquiries
- Support key and regional teams with reporting, customer requests and project support
- Act as an advocate for clients within the company, coordinating with various departments to meet client needs
Who We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service, or related field
- Customer-centric mindset with ability to prioritize client needs and deliver exceptional service
- Excellent communication and articulation skills – Fluent in English (Malay, Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese skills are desirable)
- Strong listening skills with demonstrated ability to identify client needs and be solutions focused
- Persuasive with good business acumen and unafraid to negotiate
- Great attention to detail with ability to manage deadlines and multi-task while efficiently managing priorities
- Self-motivated with personal determination, resilience and optimism in changing circumstances
- Team player who works collaboratively and leverages internal resources to achieve shared goals
- Proficient with Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable with technology for reporting and CRM
