KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and coordinate domestic, regional, and international travel arrangements
• Manage complex itineraries, including multi-destination trips, visas, and special accommodations
• Deliver outstanding customer service with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Drive online adoption and act as a custodian of customer travel solutions
• Service, retain, and grow a client portfolio while maintaining high service standards
• Handle quoting, bookings, financial processes, and customer queries
• Manage and resolve complaints efficiently and professionally
• Ensure all enquiries are actioned in line with agreed SLA timelines
• Provide timely quotes, confirmations, and travel documentation
• Resolve all customer queries within expected timeframes
• Follow One Best Way processes and procedures
• Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining service excellence
• Support brand initiatives to enhance customer engagement and retention
• Ensure travel bookings are cost-effective and compliant with company policies
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and accessible work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Matric
• SA citizen or permanent resident
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in corporate travel
• Senior Travel Consultant experience
• 5+ years Amadeus experience
• Experience with domestic, regional, and international air and land bookings
• Expert knowledge of fares, ticketing, and air complexity
• Relevant tertiary or travel qualification (advantageous)
• Strong GDS experience
• Mid/back office system experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (latest version)
