About The Opportunity

We're looking for a Senior Business Analyst to define and answer the right questions that will help us shape and drive our Reshopping program. Reshopping continuously monitors booked hotel reservations and air itineraries and secures better rates and fares on behalf of some of the world's largest corporate travel programs. Scaling it globally means committing to a series of consequential decisions regarding the target market, our customers’ needs, and which parts of the capability we build ourselves versus source from a partner.

Your job is to go and get the understanding and evidence — from our markets, our customers, and the vendor landscape — and to set out what you find clearly. Your findings sit at the centre of every major call we make on Reshopping: which markets, which partners, and what we build ourselves. You will work directly with the Program Leader and Product Managers, and you will be in the room when those decisions are made.

You will report to the Program Leader, Reshopping, and work across both hotel and air.

Location

This role can be based in one of our major offices in Barcelona or London. Fully remote may be considered for the right applicant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and document the specifics of our reshopping offering in each of our markets — the operational, regulatory, invoicing, and supplier differences that determine what is possible where.
  • Research customer and prospect needs across large-market and SME programs, so that what we build reflects demand rather than assumption.
  • Map the vendor and partner landscape for post-booking cost optimization: what each provider does, where they are strong, and what integrating with them would require.
  • Map the reshopping value chain — opportunity monitoring, decisioning, servicing, measurement, and invoicing — and set out which parts we rent, buy, partner, or build, balancing flexibility, speed, and commercial and financial benefit, so that the Program Leader and Product Managers have a clear basis to decide on.
  • Build and maintain the financial KPIs and metrics behind the offering, and identify where the greatest opportunities sit across hotel and air.
  • Document the commercial and operational lifecycle around the reshopping offering, including manual steps and local variation.
  • Determine and document system, business, and development dependencies, ensuring a seamless delivery.
  • Proactively keep abreast of new technologies emerging within the industry, both regionally and globally, and make recommendations on alternate products and options.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, accessible, and fun work environment where all Flighties feel welcomed, respected, and supported to thrive.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years in business analysis, including work where the answer was not known at the outset.
  • A track record of primary discovery — structured conversations with customers, internal teams, and vendors — and of turning it into something decision-ready.
  • Proven at evaluating vendors and partners on capability, fit, and integration cost rather than on feature lists.
  • Grounded in corporate travel or travel technology, including supplier commercial models, post-booking servicing, and managed travel program economics.
  • Fluent in hotel and air content — negotiated and public rates and fares, rate and fare rules, and cancellation and change conditions.
  • Strong at building a quantified case from large transactional datasets.
  • Skilled at defining measurement methodologies that stand up to customer and finance scrutiny.
  • Able to separate what the evidence supports from what you believe, and to present both clearly.
  • Comfortable working across many markets and time zones.
  • Confident writing requirements precise enough for engineers to build from.
  • Degree in Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.

Your Benefits (Please note, this differs by region):

  • Enjoy 25 Days Off per year plus 5 Compensation days!
  • Learn a new language with our free language learning platform.
  • Employee Retention Share Scheme.
  • Various social events to promote networking, the celebration of wins, and sometimes just for fun!
  • Enjoy our discounts with GymApp.
  • Complimentary coffee, drinks, snacks and fruits at our Barcelona office location.
  • A strong focus on professional development to support you in the evolution of your career.
