Job Summary
We are looking for a Touring Executive to play a key role in delivering smooth, memorable travel experiences for Discova customers. Working closely with guides, suppliers, drivers and internal teams, you will coordinate day-to-day tour operations, respond to changing requirements and help ensure every trip is delivered to Discova’s service standards.
 
About the Opportunity
As a Touring Executive, you will be at the heart of our daily operations, making sure tours and transfers run seamlessly from preparation through to completion. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves travel, thrives on structure and organisation, and enjoys solving problems in a fast-moving environment.
 
Your main responsibility is:
  • Coordinate guide assignments, tour preparations, transfers and third-party services to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Reconfirm bookings and maintain accurate passenger, logistics, supplier and operational information in Tourplan.
  • Work closely with Guides, Drivers, Suppliers, Reservation, Fleet, Product and Customer Experience teams to respond quickly to operational changes.
  • Prepare tour documentation and conduct guide briefings and debriefings in line with Discova procedures and service standards.
  • Provide on-the-ground support for customer issues and incidents, taking appropriate action to deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Manage guide payments, cash advances and tour costing while supporting budget accuracy and trip profitability.
About You:
  • Previous experience in tourism or a Destination Management Company (DMC) is an advantage.
  • A degree in Tourism, Hospitality or a related field is an advantage.
  • Fluent in the local language with intermediate to advanced written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work a flexible rotating roster that may include early mornings, late nights and weekends.
  • Willing to travel for business when required.
