The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, SRG Global Asset Care has a career opportunity for an experienced Non-Destructive Testing Technician (NDT) who is looking to get more out of their career and can join our team in the Alcoa Pinjarra Western Australian region for upcoming projects.

• Full time positions for local NDT Technicians.
• Return home to your family every night.
• Regular mid-week and weekend overtime on a generous EA with penalty rates.

Forming part of a skilled and high performing on-site inspections team, you will have the support of a progressive and experienced management team. You will also be offered various career development opportunities to build on your current skillset.

The Essentials:

• Minimum 2 of the following NDT certifications - UT1 / UT2 / MT2 / PT2 – ISO9712
• A Can-Do Attitude
• Current Drivers Licence
• Good Communication skills
• Attention to detail

Ideally you will have -

• Advanced or additional methods highly advantageous
• High Risk Work License – EWP >11m
• Confined Space Rescue
• Working at heights
• Further education qualifications in a mechanical or engineering field

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out the application of various NDT methods during inspections
• Building relationships and corresponding with Clients
• Interpret or evaluate NDT test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, or procedures.
• Prepare and produce high quality reports in line with company procedures and relevant industry standards.
