The Role:

SRG Global is currently seeking casual Boilermaker/Welders to join our team for upcoming works along the Strip and Peel, Kwinana region. You will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and maintaining metal components for industrial assets, including piping, structural steelwork, and refractory systems. The role will also involve working in confined spaces and supporting shutdown and maintenance activities as required. Immediate start available for successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Removal of existing stainless-steel refractory anchors within confined spaces using grinding tools.
• Installation of new anchors according to marked grid layouts.
• Perform additional duties outside of welding and boilermaking when required, aligned with your skills and with training provided where appropriate.

About You – Successful Applicants Will Have:

• Trade Certificate in Boilermaking/Welding
• Ability to pass a 6G weld test (highly desirable)
• Competency in welding procedure WPS-320 (single vee butt weld on 253MA to mild steel)
• Previous experience in a shutdown environment
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Valid Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets (within the last 2 years)
• Rigging qualification (advantageous)
• Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Commitment to a Zero Harm safety culture
