First Class Sheet Metal Worker

SRG Global is currently looking for First Class Sheet Metal Workers to work a 5-day local Shutdown in Kwinana. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment.

Shutdown Dates:

• Main shutdown – Commences on the 10^th November till 14^th  November   

 Flexibility:

• Casual Flat Rate.
• 12 Hour Days Night Shift/Day Shift.

The Opportunity:

• Fabrication and installation of sheet metal components and insulation lagging
• Maintenance and repair of ductwork, cladding, lagging, and associated sheet metal systems
• Shutdown work on fixed plant assets including tanks, piping, hoppers, chutes, and structural enclosures
• Removal and replacement of worn or damaged sheet metal and insulation materials
• Working at heights and in confined spaces to perform cladding and lagging tasks
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, insulation specs, and fabrication plans
• Assisting other trades (e.g. mechanical or rigging) where applicable and within trade capability
• Ensuring all work is completed to safety, quality, and schedule requirements

What You Need:

• Trade Certificate – Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (MEM30322)
• Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).
• Pass a pre-employment medical.
• Hold a current driver’s license.
