The Role
Seeking a Finance Administrator based at our Subiaco Office supporting the Corporate Finance team.
In this role, you will be responsible for processing financial data and ensuring that all information is accurately entered into our systems. You will need to have a strong eye for detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude is also important, as you will be working closely with our team and communicating with other departments.
This a permanent Monday to Friday position and an opportunity to gain further experience and career progression within SRG Global.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with treasury related functions including daily payment approvals, calculation of cash transfers and daily summary of the Group’s cash balance.
- Assist with the preparation, review and execution of bonds and bank guarantees including liaison with financial institutions.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of bonds and bank guarantees.
- Assist with capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests, including liaison with financial institutions.
- Process asset disposal and asset transfer requests.
- Assist with the monthly reconciliation of CAPEX data.
- Assist with tax lodgement requirements including income tax and fringe benefits tax.
- Assist with the Group’s annual and half year financial audits and other financial reviews.
- Manage data and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.
- Process invoices, purchase orders, receipts and other financial data.
- Assist with the month-end reporting process.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Attention to detail and good record-keeping skills
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
- Bookkeeping/accounting experience will be highly regarded
- Mining or construction industry experience; (preferred, but not essential)
- Good communication and organisational skills, with an emphasis on teamwork
- A positive attitude towards safety, training & environment
- Studying towards accountancy qualification (preferred but not essential)
