WHY TEAM SIMONDS?
The Simonds story all started in 1949 with a passionate family man, Gary Simonds. He envisioned a builder that Australians could rely on to guide them through the process of crafting their perfect home. This vision remains at the heart of Simonds today with our commitment to making the Great Australian Dream a reality by placing home ownership within Australia’s reach.
Becoming part of Team Simonds means becoming part of the family. Our people are the heart of what we do. Our homes are built for the community, by the community, with a local network of employees, trades and suppliers all working towards this vision. It is this passion, dedication, and excellence that you will find on every Simonds job site, office, and display centre across the country. Today, we stand proudly as an ASX listed & leading national builder servicing customers across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
Simonds has helped shape Australia. Few can say that. Whether we’re looking back at the homes of yesteryear, what we’re building now, or everything that’s still to come. We’ve not only shaped what Australia looks like, but more importantly, how Australia homes.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a full-time Customer Relationship Coordinator (or CRC for short!) to join our busy Adelaide office. As a CRC, your primary focus will be managing a portfolio of clients and guiding them through the process of building their new home, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their journey.
This involves tasks such as:
- Communicating with all clients on a weekly basis to provide regular updates
- Managing all pre-site administration for your portfolio of clients
- Coordinating and booking meetings with clients
- Ensuring all client files are updated with appropriate notes and information
- Liaising with banks and mortgage lenders regarding client finance approvals
- Maintaining a current working knowledge of Simonds products and relevant promotions
- Communicating and collaborating with other departments regarding file progress as required
WHO YOU ARE
We’re looking for someone with proven administration experience, preferably within the residential building industry or a similar environment. Experience delivering outstanding customer service to a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders is essential.
You are a confident communicator with the ability to build rapport quickly and easily, and you thrive in a fast-paced environment. While our CRCs manage their own portfolio of clients, the ability to work collaboratively within a close-knit team is equally important.
You have strong organisational skills, can confidently manage multiple priorities, and bring a flexible and adaptable approach to your work. High attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and strong planning and time management skills will set you up for success in this role.
To be successful, you will have:
- Knowledge and/or experience within the building and construction industry
- Experience in a customer-focused role with strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Framework experience (highly regarded)
- Proven ability to work in a pivotal customer contact role within a fast-paced, time-critical environment
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask across a variety of activities
- Proven ability to work in a positive and professional manner within a goal-oriented environment
- Medium density and dual occupancy development experience will be highly regarded
