THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking an experienced Medium Density Construction Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality townhouse and medium-density developments  in the Melbourne metro, North-North West region..

This role will see you take ownership of construction activities from site commencement through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to Simonds’ high standards.

You’ll work closely with trades, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive quality outcomes, maintain strong relationships and ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising medium-density construction projects from start to completion.
  • Coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain quality and progress.
  • Managing day-to-day site activities, documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Conducting site inspections and ensuring adherence to quality, safety and building standards.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders and supporting successful project outcomes.
  • Providing regular reporting on project progress and performance.

 

WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for an experienced construction professional who enjoys delivering quality projects and building strong relationships on site.

To be successful, you'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience supervising medium-density or townhouse developments (this experience will be highly regarded).
  • A strong understanding of Australian building regulations, WHS requirements and quality assurance processes.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, timeframes and budgets.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining productive trade and subcontractor relationships.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisation, time management and administration skills.
  • Confidence using technology and construction management systems.
  • A current White Card and a valid driver's licence.
