A bit about the role
As the Customer Data Improvement Technical Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of driving our organisation’s digital and data initiatives. Leading a talented team, you’ll deliver innovative, secure, and scalable digital products that enhance the customer experience and streamline service delivery.
You’ll collaborate across teams and stakeholders to shape the future of our customer data capabilities, champion best practices, and embed a digital-first mindset that fuels continuous improvement and long-term value. What you’ll deliver
- Strategic technical leadership across customer data and digital transformation initiatives, aligning delivery with the organisation’s digital roadmap.
- Scalable, secure, and high-performing digital products by leading best-practice software development, integrations, and data management.
- Uplifted data capability across teams through coaching, collaboration, and championing modern tools, frameworks, and agile delivery practices.
- Improved customer experiences through high-quality, data-driven solutions that respond to organisational needs and customer insights.
- Trusted advice and technical direction in governance, product development, and strategic forums, supporting transformation at scale.
What you’ll bring
- Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex digital and data initiatives that drive strategic outcomes and improve customer experiences.
- Strong expertise in data architecture, data pipelines, integrations, and modern development frameworks (e.g. Node, React, .NET, Python, SQL).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud platforms (especially Azure and GitHub).
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and collaborate across all levels of an organisation.
- A leadership style that empowers cross-functional teams, drives innovation, and champions a digital-first, customer-centric approach to service delivery.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Psychometric Testing.
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
