A bit about the role
As a Road Management Plan Compliance Officer at the City of Casey, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining the safety and integrity of our community’s road assets. Your role involves inspecting, recording, and reporting on the condition of infrastructure covered under the Road Management Plan, ensuring it meets the highest standards. You'll contribute to proactive and reactive maintenance efforts, support data management through Council’s asset systems, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service to residents and stakeholders.

What you’ll deliver
- Conduct proactive asset inspections, record defects and report via Council systems
- Collaborate across teams to deliver excellent internal and external customer service
- Provide maintenance insights to supervisors and relevant Council staff
- Continuous improvement and knowledge sharing with the team in the specialised space.
- Assist with scheduling proactive inspections
What you’ll bring
- Relevant experience in local government asset inspection, recording and reporting..
- Understanding of the Road Management Plan, Road Management Act, Water Act, Local Government Act and other relevant legislations and code of conduct.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening, with the ability to adapt style and approach to meet customer and organisations needs.
- Current Victorian Drivers licence.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio).
- A curious, collaborative, and inclusive community mindset.
