A bit about the role
Contribute to Council's strategic land use planning to support growth and investment, aligning with our goals for a Liveable City, Thriving Local Economy, and High Performing Organisation.
What you’ll deliver
- Assist in preparing, implementing and reviewing land use strategies.
- Contribute to improving the Casey Planning Scheme.
- Respond to Councillor and customer enquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve planning outcomes.
- Deliver strategic planning projects on time and budget.
- Prepare reports with recommendations for the Council and Executive Leadership Team.
- Support the delivery of corporate strategies.
- The position may also be required to undertake other duties as directed by management.
What you’ll bring
- Degree or Diploma in Town Planning, Urban Studies or Urban Geography, or significant experience in a related discipline.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check and Eligibility to Work check.
