A bit about the role
In this role, you are required to construct and maintain infrastructure assets under the management control of the City of Casey.
What you’ll deliver
- Maintain civil infrastructure to required standards.
- Support the Infrastructure and Open Space department and contribute positively.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Operate and maintain plant/equipment per licence requirements.
- Uphold high standards of performance and accountability.
- Ensure safe work practices aligned with OH&S policies.
- Provide information and technical advice to stakeholders.
- Participate in on-call roster and respond promptly after hours.
What you’ll bring
- Structured training to one or more of the following levels: trade certificate or equivalent, completion of TAFE accredited/industry-based training courses.
- Experience in construction and plant operation, maintaining Civil Infrastructure including roads and drainage.
- Current Traffic Control Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Valid Medium Rigid Truck Licence.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment.
