A bit about the role
In this varied role, you will provide a welcoming and informative experience to all patrons and visitors to Bunjil Place. The Arts & Culture spaces, including theatre and studio, host an array of events ranging from internal clients, local community groups through to renowned national and international artists.
What you’ll deliver
- Exceptional ushering and customer service to patrons and guests attending Bunjil Place
- Welcome and interact with guests as they enter the precinct.
- Scan tickets and usher guests to their seats inside the theatre.
- Provide patrons with information about the show such as film and photography restrictions, interval times and performance information.
- Monitor guests while in the theatre to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees is upheld.
- Assist with the setting up and packing up for functions and events.
What you’ll bring
- Excellent communication skills to engage with a diverse audience.
- Ability to problem solve in a calm and considerate manner.
- RSA Certification
- First Aid Certificate Level 2
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
