About the role
The City of Casey has an exciting opportunity to join our Infrastructure and Open Space – Roads and Drainage & Open Space City Greening Team as an Infrastructure Crew Member.
This is a hands‑on, outdoor role ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem‑solving and working as part of a supportive team. You will contribute directly to the maintenance and improvement of Council infrastructure while delivering high‑quality service to the community.
What you’ll deliver
- Maintain open space asset infrastructure to required standards.
- Support the Infrastructure and Open Space department and contribute positively.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Operate and maintain plant/equipment per licence requirements.
- Uphold high standards of performance and accountability.
- Ensure safe work practices aligned with OH&S policies.
- Provide information and technical advice to stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- Structured training to one or more of the following levels: trade certificate or equivalent,
- Completion of TAFE accredited/industry-based training courses.
- Experience in construction and plant operation, maintaining Infrastructure assets.
- Current Traffic Control Licence.
- Current White Card.
- Valid Medium Rigid Truck Licence.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check, Functional Assessment.
