About the Role
This is a rare opportunity to play an integral role in a local government transformation project.
As Program Support Officer, you'll be the backbone of a fast-paced, collaborative team, delivering high-quality coordination, administration and logistical support that keeps the program moving.
This is a limited tenure position to 29 October 2027
What You’ll deliver
- Coordinate program governance activities including planning and facilitating meetings and workshops, preparing materials, minutes, and tracking actions and decisions.
- End-to-end program administrative support, including scheduling, resource coordination, assisting with recruitment, inductions, onboarding and offboarding.
- Financial administration and procurement support including monitoring expenditure and variances, maintaining accurate records of invoices, quotes, financial documentation.
- Maintain program documentation and records management, including oversight of SharePoint to ensure information is accessible, current and well-structured
- Support program reporting and stakeholder engagement, including preparing reports, and maintaining registers
What You’ll Bring
- Program administration experience including supporting complex programs and projects within a large, complex environment
- Experience supporting complex programs, projects or organisational initiatives within a large, complex environment
- A proactive and energetic approach, with strong organisational skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong financial administration skills, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, purchase order management and financial reporting
- Demonstrated experience coordinating administration across multiple projects, workstreams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to maintain records accurately and manage sensitive information
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with a proactive, collaborative and adaptable approach
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check
