About the Role
Based across the City of Casey, you'll spend your days out in the community conducting parking patrols, engaging with residents and businesses, providing advice, and promoting compliance with parking regulations. This is a customer focused role where you'll make a visible impact while working alongside a supportive and collaborative team.
What You’ll deliver
- Patrol streets, car parks and public spaces to enforce parking restrictions in accordance with the Road Safety Act and Regulations, helping to keep Casey safe, accessible and moving.
- Issue infringement notices and assist in the prosecution of parking and local law offences in line with legislative and Council requirements.
- Educate, advise and support residents, visitors and businesses on parking regulations, while responding to enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Build positive relationships with local traders and community members to encourage voluntary compliance and promote community awareness of parking requirements.
- Contribute to a collaborative, customer focused team culture while supporting the safety, accessibility and amenity of the Casey community
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in compliance, enforcement, regulatory services, customer service, or a similar field-based role.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage professionally and confidently with a diverse range of people.
- Excellent conflict resolution skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure in challenging situations.
- A customer-focused approach, with the ability to educate, influence and build positive relationships within the community.
- A current Victorian Driver Licence and a willingness to work outdoors, including walking patrols across various environments.
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, and Eligibility to Work check.
