A temporary full time position commencing 27 January 2026 until 18 December 2026. The successful applicant will be flexible to teach across all faculties and subjects.  The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

St John the Evangelist Catholic High School, Nowra is a co-educational Catholic high school. The school draws students from Berry in the north to as far south as Ulladulla. With a student population of approximately 950 students, the school is located just one hour drive south of Wollongong

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all faculties.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching across all faculties and subjects.
• Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment  with CEDoW.
• The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE

This role is classified as child related work and therefore a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required prior to your employment with CEDoW.
